Welcome To Dhofar Museum
The story of Dhofar Museum began with the title (Legacy and Impact) where the owner of the museum, Sheikh Mohammed Abdul Mohsen Salem Al-Sail Al-Ghassani, had a passion for collecting things since the fifties, stressing that everything has a benefit until he began to acquire this amount of collectibles to be a desired dream in contributing to the heritage and historical field to highlight to generations the culture of living. The dream came true when a building was allocated for this non-profit educational project with the potential to preserve the Omani identity and contribute to strengthening the heritage, tourism and cultural sector and serving future generations.
